We're recruiting a Head Chef to lead the kitchen of an elevated, independent gastropub in Central London . The Head Chef will take full ownership of a stable and loyal team, driving menu development with a focus on refined, seasonal British cuisine and creative, monthly-changing dishes. From elegant beef tartare to bustling Sunday roast services, this is a role for a chef who thrives on quality, autonomy, and hands-on leadership! This is an exciting opportunity for a proven Head Chef with experience in premium gastropubs or independent dining groups. The Head Chef will report directly to a supportive General Manager, have full control of the kitchen, and work with a strong, long-standing brigade across dining, private events, and occasional canapé receptions in Central London!
Head Chef requirements: Proven experience as Head Chef in an independent, quality-led gastropub or restaurant. Strong skills in kitchen management - rotas, costings, GP control, and supplier relationships. Confident in developing seasonal menus and leading a brigade across service and events.
