This recently refurbished four-star hotel are currently looking for an experienced Head Chef to join the senior management team and continue improving food standards throughout the property.
As Head Chef you will be required to manage and develop a team of around 12, including a Party Chef. With a fine dining restaurant that gets especially busy at weekends and banqueting of 300+ this is consistently well patronised property.
This is a very hands-on Head Chef role and as well as developing menus and achieving financial targets, you must be prepared to be "on the stoves" also.
For this Head Chef role you must have had experience running a four stat hotel kitchen before. With good exposure to fine dining (at least 1 AA rosette) and a decent volume of banqueting.
As an independent hotel there is plenty of scope for ideas and the space to do it in an unusually large kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity or someone who wants to express themselves from a creative point of view.
