Renowned for its relaxed and elegant ambiance, exceptional service, and commitment to quality, our hotel offers a refined dining experience that showcases the best of fresh local and seasonal ingredients. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our culinary offerings. Job Overview As Head Chef, you will manage all kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative dishes that delight our guests. You will the kitchen and dedicated team, work with us in the menu development, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This role is perfect for a creative and ambitious chef with a flair for modern British, Italian and French cuisine and a passion for delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests. The restaurant and hotel already has an excellent reputation in the area, a newly refurbished kitchen, and an experienced management team. Key Responsibilities Design and develop a different menu daily, that reflect the hotels commitment to quality, fresh and local produce.
Produce and deliver a high standard of cuisine consistently.
Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to maintain exceptional standards.
Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, and supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to enhance the guest dining experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
Innovate and introduce new dishes to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hotel setting.
Strong knowledge of Classic British, Italian & French influenced cuisine, with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence.
Good attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in professional cookery).
