Were recruiting a Head Chef (or strong Senior Sous ready to step up) to take ownership of the kitchen at The Cornerstone Kitchen, delivering high-end food for luxury weddings, corporate events and private celebrations across the Midlands and UK.
This is a key leadership role within the business, combining hands-on cooking, leading from the front, team development and strong kitchen organisation.
If you are a commercially sharp head chef with a strong events or banqueting background, who understands food cost, prep systems and delivering consistent quality at scale, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a growing company with real responsibility and input.
Events typically range from 80250+ guests, including large-scale weddings, corporate events and outdoor feasts.

Fire-fuelled outdoor cooking and interactive food stations
A strong focus on flavour, presentation and consistency at scale.
About the Role of head chef
Take ownership of kitchen production across all events
Organise prep schedules, logistics and kitchen systems
Lead and develop the chef team
Drive consistency, quality and efficiency across events
Lead from the front in both prep and service this is a hands-on role within a growing team
Manage stock, ordering and food cost control
Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene and compliance
Work closely with the founder to improve systems and menus
The successful head chef candidate should have
Strong background in events catering, banqueting or large-scale kitchens
Confident delivering food for 200+ covers
Organised, calm and solutions-focused under pressure
Experience leading or stepping up within a kitchen team
Has trained or worked in a high-standard kitchen (2 AA Rosette, fine dining or equivalent), with strong attention to detail and presentation
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen compliance
Commercial awareness around food cost and kitchen performance
