We are looking for an exceptional head chef to lead the culliary programme at an ambitious new project in the vibrant hub of shoreditch. We have secured a prominent site opposite the station to create a deli & wine bar with a focus on French, Italian & Spanish produce.
The head chef will deliver our evening services from Wednesday to Saturday, producing a concise menu focussed on quality ingredients and simple cooking from the heart. Furthermore, the head chef will oversee our daytime in-house food programme, developing a menu of sandwiches, salads and other prepared deli items which will be available for our customers to purchase to take away.

What Youll Do
Lead & Inspire Build, train, and develop a skilled and passionate team that reflects our values: Generosity, Quality and Knowledge
Drive Growth & Product lines Establish the business in its new environment by creating exciting sandwiches and deli product lines alongside our General Manager, as well as creating and delivering a seasonal evening menu.
Ensure Operational Excellence You are systems orientated, creating and following robust procedures and policies for everything from recipes to cleaning schedules to maintain high standards when you arent present. Efficiency and consistency are a priority, and commercial aptitude is a must for menu pricing and profitability.
Please note this role includes working on evenings and weekends as part of the schedule, helping to ensure smooth operations during key times for our business. Your contribution during these periods plays an important role in our overall success and team support.
This role reports to the General Manager.
About You
You have 2+ years experience as a head chef
You have excellent mangement skills, fostering an environment of creativity and excellence in the kitchen even when not present
You have a passion for seasonal produce, and working with ingredients to create new dishes on a regular basis
You have a full grasp of the financial economics of running a kitchen
Food Hygiene level 3 certificate
Skills in butchery, charcuterie, cheese making or baking highly desirable
Must have right to work in the UK. We cannot offer sponsorship.
