Must have’s

* Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within a practice environment

* Solid knowledge of VAT, payroll and CIS requirements

* Confidence using cloud accounting software

* Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy

* Positive, proactive and client-focused approach

Nice to have’s

* Experience training clients on accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage

So, what will you be doing?

* Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients

* Preparing and submitting VAT returns

* Overseeing and processing payrolls with accuracy and compliance

* Handling CIS reporting and submissions

* Providing software training and support to clients

* Responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner

* Maintaining accurate financial records and meeting key deadlines

* Identifying process improvements and supporting the development of bookkeeping procedures

* Collaborating with the wider team to support client deliverables
