Salary: £35,000

Hours: 6am 6pm
Shift: 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and organise labour across harvesting lines to maximise efficiency and output

Lead and supervise harvesting teams, ensuring performance, productivity, and quality standards are met

Monitor harvesting KPIs and take corrective action where required

Ensure all products meet required specifications including quality, sizing, presentation, and consistency

Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and health and safety standards across all areas

Carry out regular checks on production output and quality throughout the day

Communicate clear instructions and updates to teams on harvesting priorities and plans

Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support ongoing development

Ensure accurate recording of production data and documentation

Drive continuous improvement across harvesting processes and operations

Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure operational alignment

Support training of new starters xbpsjku and supervisors within the team

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor within Fresh Produce

Strong organisational and leadership skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Excellent communication and team management ability

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Basic IT and numerical skills

Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns

Qualifications:

GCSE, NVQ, Diploma or equivalent

Basic Food Hygiene (essential)

HACCP training (desirable)
