Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Lead Test Architect to join a department to assist with shaping and delivering missile-level test architecture across a growing portfolio.
This role performs the duties of a lead test architect and reports to the senior leadership within the technical function.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Test Architects within the Missile Design function Provide functional leadership and support to departmental heads Own the specification and delivery of missile test equipment Ensure testability is embedded throughout product design Generate and manage lower-level test requirements, including test access, BIT coverage and factory test functionality Analyse and model systems to determine test coverage and generate diagnostic instructions Work closely with design leadership to make cost versus test coverage trade-offs
The ideal candidate would have:
Experience working in a complex engineering environment Exposure to requirements capture, project oversight, planning and stakeholder management Experience influencing cross-functional teams Experience contributing to or leading engineering test strategies
The ideal candidate must have:
Strong background in test equipment design, electronics testing or product testability Proficiency in at least one area: digital electronics, analogue electronics, microprocessor systems, electronics testing or test equipment design Proven people leadership experience
