Contract Hardware Engineer (PCB/Board Level Design & IC Validation) Role Overview We are seeking a contract Hardware Engineer (PCB/board level design) to support hardware development and IC validation activities for our client. The role spans PCB design and hardware platform development, together with IC bring up, validation, and characterisation, as well as customer facing technical support. You will work closely with internal engineering and marketing teams to deliver high quality development platforms and proof of concept designs that showcase our clients next generation products. Key Responsibilities Design and develop PCB based hardware platforms and development boards for internal use and external customers Perform IC bring up, validation, and characterisation of video and high speed data ICs Debug and resolve hardware issues at board and system level Create and maintain schematics and PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro (or similar tools) Support customer design reviews and assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware related issues Collaborate with internal engineering and marketing teams on proof of concept and demonstration platforms
