Hard Services Director - Facilities Management

We are currently working with a privately owned Facilities Management provider to recruit a Hard Services Director, to cover the London area

The role will be split between site, offices in Central London, and home working

The Role:

The Hard Services Director is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the Hard Services division, covering mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building fabric services across a portfolio of client sites. This role involves delivering safe, compliant, and efficient engineering services while maximising performance and ensuring all assets are maintained to industry standards.

You will oversee multi-site operations, lead technical teams, manage statutory compliance, and take full accountability for the division’s P&L, with a focus on driving service excellence and exceeding client expectations.

Candidate requirements:

* Significant experience managing Hard Services teams for FM providers

* Preferably from a Mechanical or Electrical engineering background, with a deep and detailed knowledge of M&E systems and associated statutory compliance.

* Ideally knowledge and experience of Helpdesk operations
