Role Overview
They are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyperson to support our installation and maintenance teams across multiple sites in London. This is a practical, hands-on role requiring strong general maintenance skills, particularly in irrigation systems, guttering, and general plumbing.
The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of how irrigation systems work, including installation, troubleshooting, and repairs.
While plant knowledge is not essential, an interest in horticulture would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of the irrigation systems for new projects
* Installation of guttering for new projects
* Carry out fault finding on irrigation systems on previous projects if and where necessary
* Undertake general handyman tasks including fixing, assembling, and basic carpentry and installation of aluminium backing boards
* Use tools and equipment safely and effectively on-site
* Support site set-up and breakdown, including moving materials and equipment
* Work across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of workmanship
* Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times
Skills and Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience in a handyperson, maintenance, or similar role
* Good working knowledge of irrigation systems (or willingness to learn quickly)
* Experience with guttering, drainage, or plumbing-related tasks
* Confident using a wide range of tools and equipment
* Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Desirable:
* Basic knowledge of plants or horticulture
* Experience working on commercial or residential sites
* IPAF, PASMA, or other relevant certifications

* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
* Flexible and adaptable to different sites and tasks
* Professional and courteous when dealing with clients
Additional Information
* Work will be across various locations in London
* Occasional early starts or out-of-hours work may be required
* Training will be provided where needed
