Labtek Group is a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary group of businesses delivering M&E contracting, lighting manufacture, fire protection, and commercial waste services across London and the South East. With group revenues set to exceed 15M this year and ambitious plans to scale to 5M EBITDA, were seeking a proven, hands-on Managing Director to help drive the next phase of growth. You will take the reins of Bexhill Electrical, our flagship M&E contracting business, while also leading strategic alignment across the group. The Role Reporting directly to the founder, you will: Lead Bexhill Electrical as MD, overseeing operations, commercial performance, and client delivery. Align and drive group-wide performance across subsidiary businesses. Build a high-performing senior leadership team and instil a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Oversee financial planning, resource allocation, and reporting across companies. Identify and integrate new revenue streams, partnerships, and acquisitions.Be a visible, respected leader across client relationships, industry networks, and staff.
About you: Proven MD or senior director experience in a contracting or project-based environment (M&E, construction, FM, or similar). Commercially sharp with a track record of scaling revenue and improving margins. Strong operational grip: understands how to run jobs, control cash, and deliver consistent service. Decisive, driven, and humble equally comfortable in a boardroom or on-site. Comfortable with multi-site management and travel between Essex, Bexhill, and London.
