Fast paced, Dual Site Manufacturing Company

Role: Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager/ HSE Business Partner

Location: North West London

Salary: £70,000 per annum - £75,000 per annum + 10% Bonus and Private Healthcare ( and more!)

Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Overview of the role:

  • Seeking a proven Health, Safety and Environment (HSE/ HS&E) Leader to strategically lead this company to further success. This position will report to the Head of Operations and expected to be the subject matter expert for the whole organisation
  • Responsible for 2 sites which include, diverse manufacturing, warehouse and head office with a headcount of just circa 300 people
  • This role is strategically led but will need to be hands on at times. Will need to be able to communicate with gravitas at senior level, educate them, paint a picture for the board and influence others. Equally able to take the wider workforce on a journey to mature their behaviours and drive their culture to an more proactive, independent state. To ensure the business is future fit.

  • Coach and mentor a direct report - HSE coordinator
  • Help to promote safety, influence and gain buy in with a diverse workforce
  • This role will work hand in hand with sustainability as well supporting across all other departments.

Essential qualifications and experience we are looking for;

  • Management experience within the manufacturing sector
  • NEBOSH Certificate with solid experience but ideally Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven to support and improve safety culture
  • Able to influence, gain buy -in with strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to make safety fun, a dynamic person who can communicate with confidence and gravitas
  • Willing to roll up their sleeves and collaborate and troubleshoot.
  • Someone who can interact and engage with everyone at every level
