OverviewAre you a technically strong Group Financial Controller looking for greater ownership and accountability within a private equity-backed business?CMA Recruitment Group is working exclusively with a £20m PE-backed services organisation based in Southampton, Hampshire, to recruit a Financial Controller who will lead the financial operations of the business. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a pivotal role providing financial leadership and support through an exciting period of growth and change.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and develop the finance team (two direct reports and several indirect)Oversee statutory and management accounting, audit, budgeting, and forecastingReview complex data sets to ensure accurate revenue recognitionImprove monthly reporting processes and strengthen financial controlsDeliver accurate, timely financial reporting aligned to regulatory and business requirementsSuitable CandidateCandidates will be Big 4 or Top 10 trained and ACCA or ACA qualified with demonstrable experience within financial control and financial reportingExposure to complex revenue recognition environments is advantageousConfident communicator with the ability to partner effectively across all business functionsBenefitsHybrid working with 3 office days and 2 WFH10% bonus and contributory pensionFree parking25 days holiday plus an additional day on your birthdayCMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment business in relation to this role.
