Could you be what were looking for?
We are looking to bring on an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead our Finance team at Senior leadership level to evolve the businesses financial function as we continue to rapidly grow. The Group Financial Controller will be a central role in shaping how finance supports growth, delivering sharper insights, stronger control and better decision-making across the business.
The Role
The Group Financial Controller is a senior leadership role responsible for setting and executing the financial strategy across all brands and venues. The role owns Group accounting, treasury, systemized finance operations and acts as the point of accountability to the Board for financial reporting performance.
Key Responsibilities include:
Lead transformation of finance processes through ERP optimisation, automation, and AI tools
Own finance systems roadmap (integration, reporting tools, dashboards)
Develop real-time KPI dashboards for operational and financial performance
Elevate monthly management packs with clear, actionable insights
Strengthen cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning
Optimise working capital cycles across a multi-site model
Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and regulatory adherence
Lead day-to-day performance of the group finance team and have the ability to d evelop, mentor, and upgrade capability taking the team to the next level
To be a success with Lane7, youll have:
Proven Group financial leadershipexperience in a multi-site, consumer-facing business.
Has multi-siteexperience in a £100m+ scale business
Experience as a group financial controller that has previously delivered faster, systemised finance operations
The experience in being a strong operator and people leader
The ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly growing enviroment.
Confident board-level communicator, comfortable with data, challenge and accountability.
