Group Finance Manager (ACA) – Fast Growth Consultancy – London (Hybrid) Better Placed is partnering with a successful fast growth consultancy group looking to appoint a Group Finance Manager. The position offers a rare blend of group reporting, commercial exposure, and early-stage transaction experience within a lean, high-performing finance team. Role Overview Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this role sits at the centre of the finance function, with responsibility spanning group reporting, cashflow oversight, and performance analysis. You will work closely with both central leadership and operating businesses, helping to improve visibility of performance, strengthen financial processes, and support strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Supporting group-level reporting across a multi-entity structure, ensuring accuracy and consistency of outputs Delivering insightful analysis on financial performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities Owning cashflow forecasting and supporting broader treasury activities across the group Contributing to budgeting and forecasting cycles, including consolidation of multiple business units Partnering with stakeholders across finance and operations to understand and improve performance drivers Supporting strategic projects, including preparation for business disposals and transaction-related activity Driving improvements in reporting processes, controls, and systems within a growing and evolving environment

Candidate Profile

Qualified accountant (ACA) likely 1–2 years PQE Background in practice (Big 4 / Top 10) or industry with strong financial reporting exposure Understanding of consolidations and multi-entity environments Exposure to management reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment
