This is a high‑impact leadership role combining strategic Finance Business Partnering with end‑to‑end FP&A ownership across Retail, Digital and Group Services. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and Exec members to drive performance through insight, influence and robust financial planning. Leading budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, you’ll ensure timely, high‑quality outputs while partnering across Finance to strengthen controls, enhance decision‑making and support delivery of our Finance Transformation agenda.

What you will be doing as Group Finance Business Partner and FP&A Manager
Group Services Performance Management:
Develop a deep understanding of Group functional cost drivers, risks, opportunities and efficiency levers across the Group cost base to drive improvements in operational and financial performance
Deliver quality performance reporting and robust projections of future performance, incorporating quality insight underpinned by cost drivers
Work collaboratively with operational, procurement and strategy teams to add financial value and drive improved performance outcomes in year and over the long term planFinancial Planning, Analysis, Accounting & Reporting management
Responsible for leading the consolidated budgeting, forecasting and management reporting process across the Retail, Digital & Group Services Directorates; ensuring the process and outputs are delivered to time and quality
Responsible for leading the consolidation and delivery of performance reporting and forecast/budgeting discussions with the Retail Director and leadership teamFinancial Leadership
Leadership accountability for creating an engaging and positive working environment in collaboration with the wider Finance Leadership team, proactively identifying and developing talent
Role model collaborative ways of working and innovative problem resolution techniques across retail, digital and group services finance and wider business teamsLocation - Hybrid, Reading
What you should bring to the role
Fully Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
Substantial experience of financial and business partnering experience
Experience with planning systems and technology Improvement
Experience with business intelligence tools and data visualisations
Excellent knowledge of providing financial insight, preparing annual plans, forecasts and knowing what good looks like
Very strong analytical and forecasting abilities
Highly effective communication and influencing skills across all levels of operational leadership.
A proven ability as a finance business partner, with a track record of creating value and driving financial process and insight improvements
Collaborative work style which also takes ownership to complete tasks independently
Ability to multi-task and prioritise own and team members work
Strong attention to detail whilst being able to see broader pictureWhat's in it for you?

Competitive salary of up to £80,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience
Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
