A well-established, independent business operating in the aggregates, waste, and extractives sector is seeking a Group Environment & Sustainability Manager to head up its growing environmental team.
This is a high-impact, strategic role where you'll: Lead environmental performance across active and legacy sites, including waste and infill operations. Own the permitting lifecycle, from acquisition to surrender, ensuring regulatory excellence. Interface with senior internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies with credibility and influence. Drive the delivery of carbon reduction initiatives aligned with the UK’s net zero goals. Support development projects, site divestment, and sustainable business growth.
