Your new role The Grounds Maintenance Worker will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, upkeep, and overall appearance of outdoor areas, including gardens, lawns, sports fields, and other green spaces. This role requires a combination of physical labour, landscaping skills, and attention to detail to ensure that all grounds are well-maintained and meet safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

Mow lawns, trim bushes, and maintain plant beds to ensure a neat and attractive appearance. Plant, water, and maintain flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other plants. Perform basic landscaping tasks, including mulching, weeding, and pruning. Sweep, blow, and remove debris from walkways, car parks, and other public spaces. Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage. Assist with pest control, including the use of appropriate methods and products. Ensure proper disposal of yard waste and debris in compliance with local regulations. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and other machinery.
