Full Time, 52 weeks per year.Denstone College wish to provide an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Person to join our friendly and supportive grounds team. You will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the grounds around the site, as instructed by the Grounds Manager. The role will be predominantly Monday to Friday with the exception of occasional events. If you would like the prospect of working in a varied role and have experience of grounds work, we would like to hear from you!The successful candidate will have:Experience as a Grounds Person or similar roleExperience in grounds equipment maintenance and repair or willing to learnSpraying licenses and relevant grounds qualifications are desirableAbility to work outdoors in all weathersAbility to understand Health and Safety processes and following risk assessmentsAbility to work on own initiative within given guidelinesAbility to work as part of a teamDenstone College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all our staff to share this commitment.
