Job Description Grounds Maintenance Operative (Fencing Experience)
Location: Norwich
Salary: £27,500 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative with fencing experience to join a well-established team based in the Norwich area. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship across a variety of outdoor environments.
The role will involve installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of fencing systems to ensure the safety, security, and appearance of grounds and properties. You will work both independently and as part of a team, adhering to health and safety standards and project specifications.
This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:

Install and repair a variety of fencing systems to a high standard
\n
Carry out groundwork tasks including measuring, setting out, digging, and post installation
\n
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
\n
Maintain clean, safe, and secure work sites at all times
\n
Work effectively both independently and within a team
\n
Support general grounds maintenance duties when required
\n
Requirements:
\n
Proven experience in fencing installation or a similar role (essential)
\n
Competent using a range of hand tools and power tools
\n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
\n
Ability to follow instructions and work to specifications
\n
Full UK driving licence
\n
B+E licence or towing experience (essential)
\n
