Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing and well-regarded transport planning consultancy in their search for a Graduate Transport Planner.
This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career within a dynamic SME, offering a structured 12-18 month graduate programme and exposure to a wide range of development projects across the UK.
The Role
You'll work alongside experienced Transport Planners and Civil Engineers, supporting planning applications for new and regenerated developments. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with Transport Assessments, Statements, and Travel Plans Supporting site layout, access, and parking design Analysing transport impacts and infrastructure capacity Reviewing planning policy and contributing to sustainable travel strategies Attending client meetings and site visitsYou'll gain hands-on consultancy experience, working on multiple projects while also contributing to wider business activities such as marketing and development.
About You
Degree educated (relevant subject preferred) Strong communication and analytical skills Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks Interest in transport, planning, and the built environment Familiarity with Microsoft Office (knowledge of TRICS/CAD beneficial)
