Graduate Planner (Geography BA/BSc) - Cambridge
Are you a recent Geography graduate with a passion for shaping places and communities? I'm currently working with a highly regarded planning consultancy based in Cambridge that is looking to expand its team with an ambitious and driven Graduate Planner.
This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in planning, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
As a Graduate Planner, you will support the team on a variety of planning projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You'll be involved in the full planning process, from early-stage research through to application submissions and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of planning applications and supporting documents
Conducting site appraisals and planning research
Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders
Supporting senior planners on project delivery
Monitoring planning policy and local development frameworksAbout You
BA or BSc in Geography (or a closely related discipline)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A keen interest in town planning and development
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
