Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Brent (September Start)
Location: Brent, North West London Start Date: September 2025 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am–4:00pm) Contract: Long-term agency placement (via ANZUK), with potential for permanent opportunities Pay: £90-£105 per day
ANZUK Education is working with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Brent to recruit Graduate Teaching Assistants for the new academic year. These are ideal roles for aspiring teachers seeking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a PGCE or similar teaching qualification.
You will play a vital role in supporting pupils with core subjects, SATs preparation, and targeted interventions. These roles begin in September 2025 and offer excellent career-building experience within supportive school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and activities
* Lead and assist with small group interventions in English and Maths
* Provide 1:1 academic support where required
* Help create an engaging, inclusive, and structured learning environment
* Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A degree (or due to graduate summer 2025)
