Location: Near Manchester City Centre Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Immediate start - Easter) Pay: £460-£525 per week
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain classroom experience before teacher training or a career in educational psychology?
Premier Education are recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and welcoming primary school near Manchester city centre. This is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience working with children in a school setting.
The Role:
Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Provide support for pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
Help manage behaviour and support social and emotional development
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
Ideal candidates:
A graduate (Psychology, Education or related subject preferred)
Interested in a career in teaching, educational psychology, or SEND
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, proactive, and adaptable
Experience working with children is desirable (e.g. tutoring, coaching, mentoring)
Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS
