Schools across Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone and Chingford regularly request Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs. As a flexible Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work in different classrooms, build valuable experience and develop the skills needed for a future career in teaching, psychology or education.

What You'll Do as a Graduate Teaching Assistant

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils

Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom routines

Support pupils with SEN, behaviour and emotional regulation

Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff

Adapt confidently to different school environments

What We're Looking For

A degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies or a related subject (preferred)

A strong interest in SEN and child development

Experience working with children (desirable, not essential)

Calm, patient and proactive approach
