Are you a Science graduate looking to begin a career in teaching straight away? This is an excellent opportunity to join a Graduate Teaching Programme in secondary schools across Kettering, gaining paid, hands-on classroom experience while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

The Role:

Support the delivery of Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 exposure possible)

Work alongside experienced teachers in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics

Provide targeted academic support to individuals and small groups

Gradually take on increased teaching responsibility as part of the training programme

Engage fully with mentoring, training, and professional development

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds (or is on track to achieve) a degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related)

Aspires to train as a secondary Science teacher

Confident, enthusiastic, and committed to professional development

Strong communication skills and a positive approach to working with young people

Previous experience in schools, tutoring, or youth work is advantageous but not essential
