This school supports children and teenagers aged 3 to 16 with a range of additional learning needs including: Autism, Speech and Language Difficulties, learning disabilities, mental health challenges and physical disabilities. The Role: * Support students in a small class setting, helping them with learning activities and personal development.* Use creative and therapeutic approaches (e.g., sensory play, Makaton, PECS) to support communication and engagement.* Build strong, trusting relationships with students and become a positive role model in their lives.* Work closely with the teachers, speech therapists, and educational psychologists to develop tailored support strategies.* Help students build life skills, as well as manage and handle challenging behaviours.
