The Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated Graduate Process Design Engineer to join our product development team at Kelvion.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is keen to build a long-term career in process design engineering, developing both technical knowledge and practical experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You'll be joining a small, experienced team (team lead + two engineers), giving you the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure, structured mentoring, and real responsibility from an early stage.
This position is designed to support your progression toward becoming a fully-fledged Process Design Engineer.
What You'll Be Doing
With full training and support, you will:
Assist in the design and development of cooling distribution units (CDUs), pump skids, and related systems Support the creation and review of P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) Work alongside experienced engineers to develop solutions tailored to customer applications Contribute to product development projects, from concept through to prototype and manufacture Support engineering changes and continuous improvement activities Learn to apply process design principles to real-world industrial systems Assist with technical analysis, including exposure to tools such as FEA and CFD (where applicable) Collaborate with internal teams including Global Technology, Product Line Management, and Manufacturing Maintain accurate documentation and support project timelines
What We're Looking For
A degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering A strong interest in process design engineering and a desire to build a long-term career in this field Basic understanding of: Process engineering principles Fluid dynamics P&IDs (beneficial but not essential) Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Good communication skills and ability to work within a team Organised approach with the ability to manage tasks and deadlines

Additional Information
