Are you a confident and empathetic graduate interested in supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs?
A welcoming secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a Graduate Learning Mentor to work with students needing extra encouragement and guidance. As a Graduate Learning Mentor, youll help students overcome learning barriers, improve attendance and build confidence in and out of the classroom.
This Graduate Learning Mentor role is ideal for someone with a passion for youth work, education or psychology, especially if youre considering further study or training in these fields.
Key responsibilities:
Providing behaviour and pastoral support to students in KS3 and KS4
Helping pupils stay focused in class and regulate emotions
Leading reflective 1:1 mentoring sessions
Liaising with teachers and the SENCo to provide tailored support

A 2:1 or above in Psychology, Criminology or a related subject
Experience working with young people in any setting
