The Company recruiting for the Graduate HVAC Design Estimator:
This renowned manufacturer is looking to grow and strengthen their projects design and estimation team.
Leader with over 100 years' experience in the commercial HVAC space.
They can offer genuine employee career development and extensive on-going training.Your Role as a Graduate HVAC Design Estimator:
Based daily from the Wednesbury site
60% of the role is estimation based;
Formulating quotes, updating margins and spreadsheets, compiling basic Bills of Materials (BoM's)
Design makes up 40% of the role
Utilising AutoCAD 2D to design pipework
Conduct calculations for airflow, utilising floor plans and previous projects.
Liaise with M&E contractors and consultants as required to better understand the clients requirements.
Working on 1 - 6 projects at a time.
Mon - Fri position, 08:30 - 16:30Ideal Background for the Graduate HVAC Design Estimator Position:
You will have an interest and understanding of engineering, ideally in HVAC.
Some design experience is preferrable with AutoCAD 2D.
Any previous experience within an office environment is beneficial.
You'll be professional and have excellent communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Excel.
Strong maths skills as you'll be conducting air flow calculations.
Able to commute daily to Wednesbury.
