Role- Graduate Controls Engineer
Salary- £27,000- £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Near Glasgow
My client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team.
The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Have knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems ideally or an interest in working with them – Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar
Any CAD skills would be beneficial for electrical design
Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will involve:
Working within the existing engineering technical team
Working with other Electrical Engineers
Working on PLC’s and a range of projects
Developing HMI software for projects
Helping to write operation manuals
Always looking at identifying areas for improvements
Some travel to customer sites will be involved too
