Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Early Careers Development Advisor.
This is a new role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for providing operational and people advisory support to trainee and solicitor apprentice processes.
Responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of Early Careers processes.
- Managing timelines and communications, ensuring they are in line with firm branding.
- Managing university onboarding and grant payments to support future trainees.
- Designing, scheduling, and delivering the trainee induction programme.
- Managing seat reviews and providing performance management.
- Managing seat allocations and rotations.
- Allocating overseas seats, collecting preferences, and coordinating logistics.
- Coordinating offers with trainee partners and overseeing the SRA admission process.
- Maintaining an understanding of pathways to qualification.
- Assisting with the development and delivery of apprenticeship programmes.
- Providing advisory support to trainees, holding meetings and check-ins, and discussing performance and aspirations.
- Ensuring accurate documentation and data managements of Early Careers processes.
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Designing and delivering engagement activities and events.
- Attending law fairs and presentations, acting as an ambassador to the firm.
- Reviewing Early Careers processes, identifying opportunities for improvements.
- Undertaking project work as necessary.

Suitable candidates will have gained prior graduate/early careers development experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking applicants with exemplary communication, attention to detail, and organisation skills.
