Graduate Consultant - Water Quality

Full Time - Permanent

This role requires the applicant to live within a 30-minute radius of Ashford

The primary purpose of the role will be to attend and investigate water pollution incidents; undertake field-based monitoring and collect environmental samples for laboratory analysis across the Southern Water region.

Key tasks and responsibilities The postholder will attend and investigate water pollution incidents across the Southern Water region The postholder will undertake field monitoring works including water quality measurements and sampling The postholder will undertake desk-based data entry after collecting data in the field The postholder will undertake technical report writing in response to water pollution incidents, time limited in accordance with client requirements The postholder will maintain all equipment needed for site and maintain cleanliness of vehicle to a high standard and inform line manager if new equipment is needed The postholder will provide accurate and timely information to line management The postholder will support the team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices at all levels The postholder may be asked to attend monthly team meetings with client and contribute where appropriate Any other d...
