About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Manager to support our Government and Healthcare team. You will drive the successful delivery of solutions and services from pre-sales through to live deployment. This role combines technical knowledge, project management and excellent communication skills, with a focus on innovative thinking and practical delivery. You will primarily drive pre-sales and deployment, working closely with the Enterprise Account Management team and independent software vendors (ISVs). You will gather customer requirements, design and deliver effective solutions, and ensure a smooth transition into live operation. Familiarity with Real Time Location Services (RTLS), RFID applications, Inventory Management (IM) and Point of Care (PoC) solutions is highly desirable, but a strong willingness and aptitude to acquire these skills is essential. Key tasks include training customers on applications and devices, preparing documentation, and enabling our services teams through a formal handover once solutions go live. You may also provide second-line software support, troubleshoot issues, and test solutions to maximise uptime, working with both end users and ISVs.
This is a hybrid role, combining work at our Newark Head Office, on customer sites and at home, depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration & Scoping
- Work with NHS Trusts, government agencies and 3rd party developers to scope, document and deliver business requirements.
- Engage all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
- Support the sales team on site visits as needed — some travel and overnight stays will be required.
Pre-Sales Support
- Help develop clear, compelling proposals that show the value of our solutions.
- Design technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Work with sales teams to increase the take-up of solutions and services.
Solution Development & Innovation
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Maintain strong knowledge of web-based Inventory Management, PoC, Asset Tracking and Clinical Optimisation solutions, including desktop and mobile APK applications.
- Promote a culture of innovation and share best practice within the wider Solutions team.
- Support the business in developing R&D capabilities and exploring new technologies.
Customer Experience & Innovation Centre
- Support the development and growth of our Customer Experience and Innovation Centre.
- Identify ways to enhance its capabilities and support customer Solution Labs.
- Assist with sales-led events and ensure exceptional customer experience.
Transition to Service
- Manage the smooth handover of solutions from pre-sales to live service.
- Be the day-to-day contact for colleagues across multiple sites and project stages.
- Work closely with our project and support teams, hardware manufacturers (OEMs) and ISVs to ensure knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
- Develop and implement transition plans, timelines and risk mitigation.
- Monitor live solutions, address issues promptly and liaise with relevant teams to resolve them.
Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing partners.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint solutions and go-to-market strategies.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong technical background with solid knowledge of relevant technologies and trends.
- Experience working with healthcare and government agencies. - Proven project management experience, from planning through delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Previous experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role.

Salary is £50,000+ Depending on experience ( Plus a £5K per year Car allowance)
