An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Procurement Manager to join a leading, multi-billion-pound FMCG beverages company headquartered in London. This organisation is renowned for its innovation across soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and functional drinks, with a strong commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing.
The Role
As Global Procurement Manager for Ingredients & Commodities, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a diverse portfolio of beverage inputs—such as sugar, sweeteners, flavourings, juices, botanicals, and other key raw materials. Operating within a fast-paced, global environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring supply continuity, cost optimisation, and sustainable sourcing practices.
This is a high-impact position where you will collaborate closely with R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams to support product innovation and maintain competitive advantage in a dynamic drinks market.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for beverage ingredients and commodities
- Analyse market trends (e.g. sugar, fruit concentrates, natural extracts) to inform procurement decisions
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic suppliers across global markets
- Negotiate commercial agreements to deliver cost savings and value creation
- Partner with R&D and innovation teams to support new product development (NPD)
- Lead supplier performance management and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and commodity risk/hedging
- Ensure alignment between procurement strategy and broader business objectives
Required Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in direct procurement within FMCG, ideally beverages or liquid-based products
- Strong knowledge of commodity markets relevant to drinks (e.g. sugar, flavours, juices, alcohol inputs)
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation and global sourcing
- Experience operating in a matrix, international business environment
- Highly analytical with strong Excel and stakeholder management skills
- Degree qualified; CIPS/MCIPS preferred
Package
- £60,000 – £75,000 base salary
- £5,800 car allowance
- 10% bonus (up to 20% based on performance)
- Hybrid working (London-based office)
