Position: Global Marketing Director / VP
Location: London (West) - Hybrid
Overview
We are recruiting for a Global Marketing Director / VP for a group in the consumer brand / fashion sector based in London (West). The group is extremely dynamic, high growth and a worldwide market leader in their field.
Responsibilities Include
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for developing global strategic plans for marketing and communication initiatives and development of the global portfolio
Globally responsible for ensuring the marketing efforts are aligned with the groups business plan and organisational goals
Creating, managing and adjusting global marketing plans and budgets
Driving growth in revenue from both in-house and 3rd party brands
Developing a world class brand identity that resonates with the customers current and future needs
Leading a global team of marketing managers and professional teams across geographies
Overseeing the development of marketing materials, events, promotions and other brand engagement activities
Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing and communication campaigns and promotions
Work very closely with the global business teams and country / region Directors to align with local markets
Partner the global digital team to enhance brands online visibility and engagement
Working closely with all key stakeholders including senior leadership
Candidate Profile
Educated to degree level in Marketing or a business related subject - Masters / MBA an advantage
At least 10-15 years experience in a global dynamic consumer brand / fashion or similar group
Prior experience leading the Marketing strategy reporting to senior leadership
Strong market and customer focus
Great track record of developing global brands and defining marketing, communications, advertising, promotions and overall driving traffic generation and revenues
Ability to lead a geographically dispersed team of Marketing Managers / Teams - coaching and developing people
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in both strategic and operational marketing roles
Preferable experience within FMCG, fashion, luxury, beauty & fashion etc
