At Novartis, we’re looking for a strategic thinker and data-driven leader to join us as a Clinical Operations Program Manager. In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of early modeling viability assessments, global feasibility studies, recruitment projections, and allocation strategies for cutting-edge clinical trials.
As a core member of our Global Clinical Operations sub-team, you’ll drive strategic planning and trial allocation using powerful insights and analytics—making a real impact on global health outcomes.
Job Description
Major accountabilities:
Analyse diverse data sourcessuch as clinical trial data, historical performance, scientific publications, epidemiology, and the broader clinical and commercial landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Deliver modeling and viability analysesto support early recruitment projections and guide clinical trial planning.
Lead end-to-end feasibility assessmentsin close collaboration with country feasibility managers, clinical trial teams, and medical experts.
Recommend optimal country and site allocations, identifying associated risks and opportunities in alignment with the global program strategy.
Provide strategic input on study designbased on data insights and feasibility findings.
Minimum requirements:
A degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
Aprovenbackground in pharmaceutical clinical drug development.
Asolidunderstanding of all aspects of clinical development, with a particular focus on clinical trial design and execution.
Demonstratedexpertise in data-driven feasibility for global clinical trials.
The ability tocollaborate effectivelyin a dynamic, matrixed environment.
Desirable requirements:
Aproactive approach to risk management, with a track record of identifying, flagging, and resolving potential issues, along with experience in strategic scenario planning.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across local, regional, and global matrixed teams.
Excellent project management capabilities, with a knack for problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Adata-savvy mindset, with the ability to interpret analytical insights and clearly communicate the rationale behind decisions.
Asolid understandingof the international drug development process, including GCP/ICH standards and health authority regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly MS Teams, Excel, and Word.
