FRENCH SELECTION (FS)\n\nGerman speaking Account Manager\nLocation: Sheffield\nSalary: up to £35,000 per annum OTE (depending on experience)\nRef: 4292GA\n\nTo apply using our preferred format, please visit French Selection website, go to the vacancies page, search job reference: 4292GA\n\nThe company: A well-established innovative British company who are a leading and growing importer and distributor of products with a customer base spanning across the UK, Europe and other global destinations\n\nMain duties: Looking after the DACH market, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with the Key accounts while also supporting customers with their day to day needs.\n\nThe role:\n- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers in the DACH region.\n- Manage all aspects of account administration including quotes, orders, pricing, and general enquiries\n- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow sales with existing and new customers\n- Attend trade fairs in Germany twice a year as well visit customers when needed\n- Follow up on leads generated through trade fairs and marketing campaigns\n- Provide exceptional service and support to all DACH customers ensuring enquiries and orders are handled efficiently.\n- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order records\n- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of customer requirements\n- Support marketing activities including website updates, translations, SEO, and newsletter creation\n- Report on and analyse sales performance to identify trends and opportunities.\n\nThe candidate:\n- Fluent in German (written and spoken ) essential\n- Experience in account management or sales needed\n- Confident communicator with a proactive, sales-driven mindset\n- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.\n- Able to travel to Germany for trade fairs and client visits\n\nThe salary: up to £35,000 per annum OTE ( depending on experience)\n\nFrench Selection, leading UK-based consultancy specialising in the recruitment of bilingual and multilingual professionals for international business (industries and services).
