Job Title: Geoenvironmental Engineer Location: Bath Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
A new opportunity has opened for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a well-established environmental and geotechnical consultancy based in Bath. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of contaminated land and ground investigation projects, with a strong focus on professional development and technical progression.
The successful Geoenvironmental Engineer will be involved in both site-based and office-based work, supporting the delivery of environmental assessments and remediation projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure schemes.
You will have the opportunity to work for an established consultancy who have a large presence in the civil, structural and environmental industry.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 site investigations Soil and groundwater sampling and environmental monitoring Factual and interpretative report writing Contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies Supervising site works and liaising with contractors Supporting project delivery from tender through to completionRequirements
Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related subject Experience within a geoenvironmental or contaminated land role Understanding of contaminated land legislation and risk assessment Strong report writing and communication skills ...
