Academics are currently supporting a specialist SEMH provision in Aylesbury that is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team on a temporary basis starting as soon as possible. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them to develop confidence, build positive relationships, and re-engage with learning. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to deliver tailored support, manage behaviour effectively, and create a safe and nurturing environment for every learner. Key Responsibilities: * Support students with SEMH and associated learning needs in both 1:1 and small group settings. * Assist with implementing behaviour and learning strategies. * Help create an inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom atmosphere. * Work collaboratively with staff and external professionals to support student progress.
