Location: BT1 4LS, Belfast, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, UKUp To £20.93 Per Hour PAYE / Up To £28 Per Hour Umbrella Role Overview – This role is to support the integration of indirect procurement processes following a recent company acquisition, ensuring a smooth transition and driving operational efficiency. The role involves change management, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, process improvement and requisition approval will be based out of Belfast. Responsibilities • Ensure compliance with relevant company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements • Building strong relationships with the trans-national organization of General Procurement and locally with key customers and stakeholders, communicating with internal customers at all levels and managing any escalations in a timely manner. • Working collaboratively and ensuring the link between the Supplier and the MFT/MDT in all topics to ensure “1 voice” to the supplier. • Ensure contractual parameters are adhered to by the suppliers with a special focus on the management of non-quality and late delivery. • Suppliers/Contracts Management of relationships between the organisation and suppliers and ensure regular reviews take place at all appropriate levels to highlight and manage issues. • Execute CFT's approving requisitions and ensure delivery to expectations as appropriate. Support the change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new procurement systems and procedures. • Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and provide necessary training and support. • Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives. • This role may involve travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly Competencies • Change Management: Ability to lead and support change initiatives effectively. • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to develop and implement strategic procurement plans. • Stakeholder Management: Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders. • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions. • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs. Skill Set Essential • Procurement buyer experience ideally in an Indirect Procurement role. • Experience in working in a multi-functional & multi divisional environment. • Experience in stakeholder management and influencing internal customers. • Experience of Change Management • Excellent communication and negotiation skills including at senior management level. • Strong Commercial / Contract / Finance knowledge. • Negotiation level in English. • Strong networking skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment Desirable • Ideally a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or similar certification is a plus. • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, or post-acquisition integration, is highly desirable. • Familiarity with procurement systems and software (SAP and Coupa).TPBN1_UKTJ
