ABOUT SHIKO GROUP Shiko Group is one of the North's fastest-growing hospitality collectives. Since launching in 2020, we've built a portfolio of 8 distinctive bars, cafes and event spaces across Manchester and Leeds including Side Street, Courts Club, The Lawn Club, The Dome, The Stables and Canary Bar. We're now taking the next step: going national. That means we need exceptional leaders to grow with us.
THE ROLE Our General Managers are at the heart of what we do, meaning you'll have full ownership of your venue - from the guest experience to the P&L. You'll lead a large, fast-paced team across high-volume trading periods, drive revenue and standards, and be a key part of Shiko's national expansion story.
This isn't a placeholder role. We're building something and we want ambitious GMs who want to be part of it from the ground up.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Running day-to-day operations of a high-volume venue, end to end
Leading, motivating and developing a large front-of-house and bar team
Taking ownership of financial performance - revenue, GP, labour, costs
Driving events, private hire and bookings to maximise venue revenue through sales manager management
Maintaining compliance, licensing, H&S and brand standards across the site
Working closely with senior leadership as we scale

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Proven GM experience in a high-volume wet led, venue or hospitality environment
A strong commercial mindset - you understand what drives a P&L and you act on it
A natural people leader - someone teams want to follow
Comfortable with events, private hire, food and late-night trading
Confident managing licensing, compliance and health & safety requirements
Ambitious - you want to grow as the business grows
