About the Role We are seeking a passionate and driven General Manager to lead a growing independent restaurant brand in a central Birmingham location. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact, with a clear pathway to progress into an Operations Manager role as the business continues to expand.
We are looking for a leader who not only runs a successful restaurant but is excited to help grow the business, bring forward new ideas, and drive performance.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the full day-to-day operations of the restaurant
Deliver outstanding guest experiences through strong team leadership
Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team
Maintain exceptional service and operational standards
Take full ownership of the business, managing your own agenda
Drive sales, control costs, and ensure profitability
Lead from the front with a strong floor presence
Handle customer feedback and build lasting guest relationships
Growth & Business Development Actively contribute ideas to grow revenue and improve performance
Identify opportunities for promotions, events, and service enhancements
Work closely with ownership on future expansion plans
Play a key role in the brands growth, with progression into an Operations Manager position
Requirements Strong experience in a branded restaurant environment
Proven ability to lead teams and deliver through people
Excellent guest engagement and service standards
A natural leader who can train, coach, and inspire
Strong personality with a confident presence on the floor
Commercially aware with full financial accountability
A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to grow the business
