This is a highly visible, front-of-house leadership role where you will be the face of the business, responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and thriving village pub. Key responsibilities include: Full day-to-day running of the pub Leading service from the front and being a visible host Working with the head chef to develop the pub as a destination venue Building strong relationships within the local community & groups Driving trade through wet sales, food, and events Organising and promoting community-led events and activities Managing stock, suppliers, and financial performance Recruiting, training, and motivating a small team Maintaining high standards of service, presentation, and compliance The Candidate We are looking for someone who is: An experienced General Manager or Pub Manager A natural host with a strong personality and genuine people skills Highly visible and hands-on in the day-to-day running of a pub Commercially aware with a focus on driving trade and profitability Passionate about community and creating a local hub Organised, reliable, and fully accountable for performance Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and busy service periods This role suits someone who thrives in a front of house leadership position and takes real pride in running a successful, community-focused village pub.
