About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Hospitality General Manager to lead a village-owned, not-for-profit members club in Belbroughton. This is a hands-on management role with full responsibility for daily bar and food operations, staff leadership, financial control, and member experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day hospitality operations

  • Recruit, train, and lead a front-of-house and bar team

  • Produce staff rotas in line with sales forecasts and labour targets

  • Control wage costs as a percentage of turnover

  • Manage stock, ordering, GP, wastage, and shrinkage

  • Deliver events, functions, and private hire

  • Ensure excellent service standards and customer experience

  • Maintain full compliance with licensing, H&S, and food safety


About You

  • Proven management experience in hospitality (pub, bar, club or similar) essential

  • Strong understanding of labour control, stock management, and margins

  • Confident people manager with a hands-on approach

  • Commercially minded and well organised

  • Passionate about hospitality and community-focused venues
