Leeds A GBP 50,000 + TRONC + Bonus A large, high-volume venue is looking for a commercially driven General Manager to take full ownership of performance, culture, and standards. This is a A GBP 60:70k weekly net sales business with a 60/40 food:led offer, strong corporate trade, and a major focus on events and private hire. The site includes a sizeable indoor space, an upstairs area, and a busy external terrace that comes into its own during summer, with trading running until midnight on weekends. The Role
Full accountability for a A GBP 60:70k weekly revenue business, driving sales across food, drink, and events Lead, develop, and embed a strong team culture across a headcount of around 50 Maximise revenue through corporate bookings, private hire, and seasonal trading opportunities Ensure consistent delivery of operational standards across a large, multifaceted site Work closely with an established AGM and Assistant Manager to maintain structure and performance Oversee the planning and execution of high-volume events, ensuring smooth delivery and repeat business Take ownership of P and L performance, identifying opportunities to grow revenue and control costs
The Person
Proven General Manager with a strong track record in sales-driven environments Experience leading large, complex venues with a mix of dining, events, and high-volume trade Commercially sharp, with a clear understanding of how to drive revenue and maximise profit Strong people leader, able to build, motivate, and retain high-performing teams Confident managing corporate bookings and private hire at scale Detail:focused operator who delivers consistency without losing pace A natural fit for the culture : hands-on, driven, and focused on results
