About the pub The Trawlerman boasts a seaside location in the holiday town of Cleethorpes, within walking distance of two holiday parks and just a stone’s throw from the seafront. It is a highly seasonal business that trades at an average of £30,000 per week in net sales, with a 65/35 sales mix favouring food. Carvery is available every day and is a key feature for Sunday lunch. The pub has strong potential to develop further as a family‑dining destination and hosts occasional family‑focused events. Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high‑performing team, driving engagement and performance. Be accountable for managing all aspects of the pub, ensuring profitability and exceptional customer experience. Drive sales and growth initiatives, thinking creatively to increase revenue. Maintain a positive, inclusive work environment and celebrate successes. Manage seasonal trade, scaling operations effectively between summer and winter periods.

Qualifications & Experience

Prior experience as a General Manager in a pub or hospitality setting. Experience with carvery operations is desirable. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Ability to engage with the local community and build relationships throughout the year. Knowledge or experience managing a seasonal business is an advantage.
