Job Description

We are searching for a Gas Engineer to join a leading contractor working on social housing void properties in Birmingham.
This role is focused on voids work, specifically cooker point alterations and radiator relocations, completing short-duration repair, renewal, and refurbishment works to prepare properties for re-let.
The Gas Engineer will be required to:

  • Carry out gas works within void social housing properties
  • Complete cooker point alterations and radiator relocations
  • Undertake short-duration repairs, renewals, and refurbishment works
  • Aim for first-time fix while working efficiently and safely
  • Work in line with all health & safety and gas compliance regulations

The Gas Engineer will need:
  • Domestic ACS qualifications (CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CEN1)
  • Previous experience working within social housing voids
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in a similar role

The Gas Engineer will receive:
  • Competitive hourly rate of pay
  • Company van and fuel card
  • Monday to Friday working hours
