Job Description
Gas Engineer\n\nWe are looking for Gas Engineer to work a varied role covering installs, servicing and breakdowns for a plumbing and heating company based in Newcastle.\n\nThis is a well-rounded position offering a mix of domestic and light commercial work, with a company that values reliability, professionalism and quality workmanship.\n\nThe Role:\n\nInstallation of combi boilers (Worcester Bosch & Baxi), including conversions\nHeating system re-pipes and radiator replacements\nBoiler servicing, repairs and breakdown diagnostics\nFault finding across central heating systems\nGeneral plumbing maintenance (domestic & commercial)\nLandlord gas safety checks (CP12s)\nBathroom and washroom installationsWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nWorking independently and as part of a team on a variety of jobs\nLiaising with homeowners, tenants and site managers\nDelivering a high-quality, professional service\nCommunicating with the office team on job updates and follow-ups\nProblem-solving on-site and overcoming challenges efficientlyWhat We're Looking For:\n\nMinimum 3 years' experience post-qualification\nRelevant Gas Safe / ACS certifications\nStrong fault-finding and diagnostic ability\nGood customer-facing skills\nFull UK driving licence\nReliable, punctual and self-motivatedWhat's On Offer:\n\n£35,000 - £40,000 basic (depending on experience)\nCompany van & uniform provided\nMonday-Friday (8am-5pm)\nFull-time, permanent position
